Me getting older

 Yes, I am one year older this year. Rasa macam cepat sangat masa berlalu, which is true. I can only appreciate the current moment that I am in because it will not repeat in the same way. Apapun, this year, I am applying:

1. Rumah (such a huge commitment)

2.HLP (just thinking of applying and do my best)

3.Other career options (this is always on the radar because I want to have better career opportunities)

4.Perth trip (in the making)

5.Pindah lebih dekat dengan family (Tbh, LDR is making things hard when your child is not well whilst I am hundreds of kilometers away from home. 

6.Just enjoying every day better and fulfillingly

7.Learn new skills and lingo (Planning to be better at repairing and Mandarin)

8. Invest in SSP (hopefully can win that RM1million)

Good luck for me then.

P/s: I don't know but I always feel I want to be a doctor or dentist years after I took my Geology course. I know this sounds crazy but if I was given the chance to do so, I would take it right away even though I know I would be in 40's by the time I graduate. Or maybe, I am not destined not to be one purely because I want not meant to be AND I did not take every single opportunity that was available before me.

A new year a new me

 Today is the first day of the year. I do hope that this year brings me a lot of sustenance and achievements that I have yet to achieve. And with the new year ushering in, I just want to be more focused in whatever that I do whilst not neglecting my self-love and me time. As the saying goes, work smart, this applies to me whenever I am in service.

End of a year

 So many things happened during this year. I became a father, but still got to be away from my own family. Having to visit them only during the weekend. Plus, I did not get PTD for this year. My favourite Tv drama series for this year would be Seribu Tahun. Up to this day, I watch each episode regularly. I do admit I did not write as much as previous years. 

SOON TO BE THREE

I feel that it has been more than 3 months since I last posted here. As such, I have a lot to tell and write down but I could not afford the time to write all the stories on this platform. 

Nonetheless, Raya 2025 was a blast, and we went to Umrah and New Zealand in the first half of year 2025. It felt so surreal visiting these two places. More updates on these trips in next posts to come. For Umrah, I felt blessed to be there and for New Zealand, I felt grateful to be in such a beautiful country. I would definitely place Nz alongside Japan and UK for countries that I will visit again.

However, I did try to apply to relocate due to my wife working in Selangor and Negeri Sembilan. But shit happened in Selangor. So I did advise here to really consider all opportunities that are available else where and perhaps could work under someone else's company first before venturing into own company as it is not easy to simply start a business nowadays.

In the meantime, I did apply PTD for how many God know, and went for the PAC in Intura. I did my best and just hoping for the best, regardless of the outcome. 

As for HLP, I felt a bit of a bummer because I did not have enough time to do my own personal statement and get my application form signed by my Head of Jabatan (HOD) as he went to Thailand for some official duties. I have to admit some of it was my fault for delaying the application by one week, but I just got back from New Zealand on 11 May. And last week, there were many assignments that were pending.

Tapi masa ni jugalah, nak pergi Thailand bagai and the HQ want every hardcopies by 26th of May, which is next Monday. Hello, my office is in northern state of Malaysia, not somewhere in Klang Valley. Of course, I felt angry and furious at the same time.

As such, realistically, I don't think my documents could get to HQ by 26th of May and signed by HOD in my office that I currently work at. But, I still could write the proposals for the sake of next year's application with all the proposals and details being prepared way earlier than the application itself. 

And of course, there is this one house in my neighborhood that holds a thousand secrets and tales behind its previous owners-I will surely make a post out of this house, but I guess it is not time yet.

February Call

 I promised to myself that I will write more often this year, so here it is, the first blog for 2025. A new year a new me. I swear that this will be the best year ever since moving into this new phase of my life. Here to more writings and beyond.

Third quarter updates

 Wow, time does fly fast. It feels so sad that we are approaching the end of the year but I guess that is life. The only thing that is constant is change and it is inevitable. As such, we should make use of whatever time that is available because we only live once and short on this temporary world.

Housing, family, transfer application and others are all being put into plan, but only Allah knows the rest. Speaking of marriage, I feel that my colleague did not get married for this year except me and my other staff. One got his engagement cut short due to some internal issues, others just stated that they waited until end of next year only God knows when they will ever got married.

I strongly feel that many will not get married unless they reached 30+ like I did. Maybe it is due to financial issues, not ready to get into long term commitment and other related reasons. As of now, there are more than 10 people around me that I know who are still single. I do not blame them though, maybe they did not get what they wish their partners to be.

Ramadan 2024

 It has been ages since I last updated this post. Wow, so many things to write but I do not even have the slightest idea on how to write ones. I went to umrah in 2023 and I met my partner in 2023 and got married in 2024. Inshallah, this is the first time I will be having a partner for this year's Ramadhan.

This Year in Recaps

 Well, it has been a lonely year for this blog apparently but for me, I believe that this year has been nothing but great.

I managed to make some new contents ok Tiktok and Youtube and pretty sure, I will continue doing so in years to come.

Of course, I am looking forward to future, to settle down, having a family and a better work prospect and etc. Nonetheless, I will always keep sure that I make full use of every single day that passes by.

Regarding my social media journeys, I have so far scoured about 2300+ social media out of 2400+ and counting. In short, I could say that most of the apps either on Appstore or Playstore are nonsense and would be vanished in few years to come because nobody is using it at all costs.

So, to more writings and contents next year.

Of course, Umrah 2023 would be a thing worth jotting down for.

P/s: I will always keep on writing and reading and learning more foreign languages and music scores.

Blogging with my new Macbook Air

Im currently blogging using my new Macbook Air 2020. Bukan apa, sejak 2011 sampai 2021, saya tak pernah beli satu laptop pun melainkan laptop Acer yang sudah lama dipakai di universiti. I guess after years of not having a personal laptop, I think I need one.

Inshallah with this new laptop, I will be more motivated than ever before to blog, socialize and insyallah meet my future soulmate in my life.

P/s: 2021 is my year and I will make it my best ever.

This year I am going to make it my most memorable year ever as I want to have a family, home and other alternative opportunities for my own life and values. Insha-allah I am going to make it along the way.

Learning About Past Decisions for Own Future

Taking time off

 It has been another hectic weeks since I last posted on this blog. Too many things happen in one go. At least, I managed to take my time to answer PTD exam which was very difficult and tricky. Not that easy when you only have 50 minutes to answer 40 math questions which was not that very easy either. I managed to make some amendment to SPM rankings (it has been 10 years but I am still batak ranking SBP/MRSM for SPM, well I enjoy what I am doing that is why I keep doint it after all this years.

I will be posting more contents after this few weeks, I promise.

Salam semua,

Hari ni aku rasa aku nak cakap campur-campur. Sorry for my language but after some time, I feel better at using both languages to express myself better. 

This week, I have a 3-day weekend. Sebab hari Ahad adalah hari keputeraan Sultan Kedah. Ramai orang kata best cuti panjang, but I prove myself wrong. Bosang weyh kalau duduk rumah sebab cuti and with the current situation, what is the excuse to go outside more often than ever? It is quite precarious and I know that my immunity is not as strong as other people. Sebab tu, aku sentiasa ambil vitamin C to boost my immunity.

This week, I just spent some quality time with family and on this day, I just tried learning every new thing as much as possible; new languages (Japan,Korean,Mandarin,French), new living skills (gardening, plumbing and electrical wiring etc) and home skills (cooking simple recipes-ini macam belajar secara tak langsung). To keep myself busy, I also tried to make it habit to blog at least twice a month. Nampaknya kena aktif balik berblog ni.

Sedar tak sedar sudah 6 bulan berlalu since 2020. It has not been a pleasant year I have to say, if you consider this Covid thingy. Nevertheless, I use this time frame to learn things from the past, macam sejarah dunia dan sejarah politik lampau dan evolusi muzik sepanjang zaman. Sangat banyak sebenarnya yang boleh diketahui dan dipelajari just by Googling and surfing on Youtube. Itu belum kira lambakan social media posts yang penuh dengan kisah-kisah sensasi dalam dan luar negara. So much to learn sepanjang masa free ni.

P/s: I will blog more and more eventhough I will get busier than ever sebab ini sahaja cara untuk aku aktifkan otak kreaktif aku supaya tidak luput dari ingatan kelak. I also started using a physical diary to write on random topics when I feel I do not need to put it on the blog yet. Yang penting, eat well, sleep well and exercise well, insya-Allah semua akan ok. Tajuk blog tak ada kena mengena dengan content post but I just feel kind of addicted to listen to Mj's songs lately and this 1983 hit is definitely one of them.

My PKP/PKPB Journey

Salam and good day,

For the past 2 months, this is what I have been doing to keep myself preoccupied;

1. Work-duh, work never stops but I do it at a very minimal level because I really want to use my PKP/PKPB learning other stuffs for my self-development.
2. Foreign languages-Mandarin, French, Japanese, Spanish. I tried learning these 4 languages at the same time. It is extremely hard but I found it motivating to be able to understand something other than in Malay or English. I also found that my personality can change if I tried thinking in those languages compared to the ones I already know.
3. Living skills-Cooking, repairing and gardening. Definitely not my forte but I can at least cook simple dishes and learn to use the hammers, pliers and many more for various purposes. I will definitely learn more after this.
4. Learning what it means to have a family-This is obviously one of my lifelong goals in life which is to have my own family and it got me thinking that being single for so long is not that cool nor that good because I could not share my things with others as a family. So, pray for me for this thing to happen soon.

P/s: PKP/PKPB has brought out the best in me because I got to discover many things that I never knew before. Youtube is one of the many platforms that I found quite interesting and enthralling as millions of stories, ideas and video clips portraying various walks of life. For sure, I will make use of everything that I have learned in the years to come.

Updates April 2020

Here I am still stuck at home due to COVID-19. However I did make full use of all the days that have passed by.

1. Leaned Italian, Mandarin, Japanese, French, Spanish, Turkish and Hindi.
2. Participating in an essay competition
3. Using all dating apps and social media including live streaming apps and websites, and language exchange apps that are available online as to increase my networking circles.
4. Do my office work at a very minimum level as to keep my professionally active.
5. Spend my money on things that I need to splurge on.

P/s: I will write more on what stuffs that have occurred based on the lists I made above.

A journey to someone's 2002 blog

On a random day, I randomly googled someone's blog because I thought it was interesting to know things that he would like to blog about. So here it is, the link for the above blog goes back as early as October 2002, when I was just about 10 years old (Standard 4). 

Apparently, he is quite knowledgeable in using the internet, email and computers, considering 2002 was a time where most Malaysians just started to get to use Mirc nad Friendster. I am not sure about Yahoo messenger and other messengers because I did not have much access of the internet back in the early 2000's. 

Now it is already 2020, which means it has been 18 years since the blog post was last published. What a long way it has been.

P/s: I will keep on blog stumbling in the future because I wanted to know more about what had happened in the fast.
