It is a one thing that every Malaysia student will face (if he went to national school), and that is none other than SPM. The purpose of this writing is none other than to reminisce all the things that had ever happened to me 8-9 years ago. 

I got 5a+ and 4a (EST excluded) and to me it was not that good nor that bad. 

One thing that I could emphasize was that you need to start early. When I talk early, it means that starting as early as in Form 4. Only then, your brain would be able to process and put things all together, considering that there are 9 subjects to be compartmentalized inside your tiny brain.

Well, I did start early and that could be one of the reason that I got such result. Otherwise, if I just started my study mode in Form 5, I would most probably give up half of the journey and I might score 5a's only (Not definitely a's for Add Maths, Physics, Chemistry and Biology).

I have to admit that I am not a genius, and that is why I decided to gather my effort during Form 4 (though I failed Add Maths twice).

Things just got better during the second half of Form 5 when I just solely focused on my SPM and I could still remember that I spent my prep on the weekends, reading the same notes and questions relentlessly whilst others went for outing. Yeah, I could remember perfectly all those moments or else I would not get such result.

Too bad PASUM years were not in my lucky mode, I just got 3a and 1b (maths) but I redeemed those failures that I experienced by getting a CGPA of 3.59 for my degree and turned out to be 5th or 6th best student for the entire class.

Still, I would have to remind myself and others that no matter what exam it is, what matters most is to start early and revise as much questions and answers as possible. That is what I did for my entire exam life because I am not much a of genius who could understand every concept in one go.

Congrats to those who received this prestigious scholarship from the government. Hope all the pictures explain the joys and excitements the recipients felt up until now. Also to 4 Kijang Emas scholars who received the scholarship at BNM HQ last week.

For your information, you will need to get straight A+ with an average marks of 93% and above to get this kind of scholarship. I said this based on my findings from other bloggers who receive this scholarship as well. Therefore, start focusing on your study now to get that kind of achievement in your SPM. However,that does not mean that you cannot participate in your ko-k and enjoy your high school life.

Of course, Kijang Emas is tougher to get than Biasiswa Nasional. However, you just need to keep on striving for your own success and your own future. That is why only 20 are selected for the interview after receiving application from some 300-400 straight A+ applicants. Only those who are academically and kok excellent can get this scholarship.

puan norhizan( ibu angkat/program manja didik 2009)

Rasanya belum terlambat lagi kalau nak bagitahu apa yang berlaku pada tanggal 11 mac 2009. one date that changed everyone for all form 5 2009 students. pada masa itu, aku agak suspens kerana tidak mengetahui keputusanku dan rakan2 yang lain mengenai keputusan spm masing2. saya tanya cikgu zul pun, dia cuma kata saya dapat banyak a. tak pasti sama ada straight a ataupun tidak. bayangkanlah, sejak malam 10 mac lagi, kepala ni asyik2 ingat pasal result.

Dahlah baru balik daripada plkn kem lagenda seri negeri langkawi, lepas tu kena dapat pulak result esok hari. it was quite a stress!! apapun, aku kena redha and tawakkal je apapun result yang aku dapat sebab ALLAH dah berikan yang terbaik untuk aku. padanlah dengan usaha aku selama ni. the harder you work, the better your result. so i believe in that perception.

Aku pergi dengan keluargaku menaiki kereta Atos dari Alor Setar ke Taiping. Kami sampai dalam pukul 9 pagi lagi. Terpaksalah tunggu dalam 2 jam lebih di sekolah. Setibanya di sekolah aku jumpa rakan sekelas 5 Suria dan batchmates yang lain seperti Luqman, Badri, Hanif dan lain-lain. Aku ada merekod video semasa aku sampai tapi aku dah "delete" video tersebut.

Sampailah pukul 11.30 am, akhirnya puan rahimah, pengetua cemerlang seratas mengeluarkan keputusan spm 2009 kepada semua 164 candidates of batch salvo aquila 0509 and 0809. syukur alhamdulillah kawanku, hazman omar, azdayanti and liyana zabidi managed to get all a's in their subjects.

Aku? aku pun mendekatkan diriku ke meja kelas 5 suria. semua ahli 5 suria 2009 berada di situ. penantian yang ditunggu pun berakhir. aku dapat straight 10 a. alhamdullilah. boleh la tu. trial sbp 9a1b, trial perak 9a1c, spm 10 a. capailah jugak target minimum aku. tapi target maksimum aku tak tercapai, which was straight 10 a+. nak buat macam mana, mungkin ini yang terbaik untuk aku and mungkin ada hikmah di sebalik ini semua.

Apapun, once i got the result, i kissed my parents' hands, telling that i scored straight a. the same went for my teachers. madam lee,madam neoh, puan zuraidah and puan pariza, thanks to them, i got a for all the subjects taken. si nazrin pulak dapat 9a. hebatlah tu. si arif naim, 10a1b, b dia est. lantaklah. bukan kira pun est tu, naim. lagipun, hang dah ada bahasa jepun. janganlah bimbang. insya-allah hang boleh dapat punya biasiswa jpa jepun tu. so, seratas secara kasarnya menghasilkan 11 calon memperoleh semua a daripada 164 calon batch 24 seratas. salvo aquila. terima kasih cikgu, 10 a berjaya saya genggam. kepada adik haafiz, berusahalah bersungguh-sungguh sebabnya spm only come once, so do your very best.
