So many things happened during this year. I became a father, but still got to be away from my own family. Having to visit them only during the weekend. Plus, I did not get PTD for this year. My favourite Tv drama series for this year would be Seribu Tahun. Up to this day, I watch each episode regularly. I do admit I did not write as much as previous years.

It is the end of the year
I cannot write that much due to time constrain, but I will try to amend my blogpost from time to time. To sum it up, my family and I went for umrah in November. It was quite interesting and heart-touching at the same time, and insya-allah, we hope to come again in the future (hopefully, by that time, I am already married). More pictures will be followed.
At the same time, SPM has started. So I guess, all candidates should focus solely on their papers and after completing their exams, they should search all possible scholarships that are available online. I am pretty sure this batch competition in getting scholarships is tougher than ever.
I have also made another websites, catered solely for the purpose of scholarships information. Hoefully, it will be rolled out by February next year.
And obviously, I make it a habit to have as many social medias and apps as possible so that I will not miss out on important things and events, be it family or friends-related or career-wise or even current global and local events happening worldwide.
I hope I can enter more essays in the future so that I can explore more things that I never expected before and obviously the rewards that you can gain later on in life.
Also, I make it habit to read during my leisure and work times so that I will not waste any single moment of my life.
Lastly, to a brighter future in 2019 !!!
P/s: I also watch Netflix and listen to music playlists in Spotify and Joox so that I will be inspired and aspire to be better in the future.

The challege of life
It is not that very pleasant because of all these problems, but that is life. What you might want to get might not be for you after all because Allah has decreed it that way. That is what I always utter to myself whenever I have problems to tend to.
One thing I come to learn that we should never delay or procrastinate because things often get piled up easily.
Being 25 on the other hand, it is time for me to settle down. But who is she? Only Allah knows and most importantly, let this knot be the gateway to Jannah. I know I am not perfect or as pure as the Prophet S.A.W,but at least I try to become a better person for each day that I live on this temporary world. Insyallah everything will be settled by the time I reach 27 which is 2 years from now!!!
On another side, I always have this weird dream of seeing people die, or experience death. I am not sure how I am going to say this, but let us just say that it is part of the evil's game lingering in our minds to mess up our daily life and routines. Nevertheless, this event has taught me one thing; always believe that life is extremely short. And, we will never know when we will die unless we got a critical illness that can estimate how long our remaining life is. Subhan-allah, I hope that all these death things will make me a better muslim and subsequently to have better muslim family in the future.
It is not that I do not want to make my life happy, it is just that we need to realize that at the end of the day, all the titles, glories, jobs, even families are soon gone once we enter the phase of alam barzakh. It serves as a reminder not only to myself but to everybody who reads this as well.
The accident in Keratong, Jempol which claimed 8 lives in total is one of the grim reminders that death can suddenly sneak through our life even without noticing it.
Regarding the death bully of a UPNM cadet student, I just have to say repent to those who did it. Even it is part of the tradition and it should be okay, do realise that once a person dies, you are considered a murderer no matter what the intention is.
Also, I haven't written much on my travelogue years ago when in fact those experiences should be written altogether in this blog so that I can always reminisce every moment of it in the future.
p/s: Going back to Kelantan few weeks ago to spend quality with the family and hopefully this Ramadhan and Syawal 2017 should be another memorable year to cherish upon.
Till then, I will be writing more and more to inspire people more.

Ramadhan 2017
It is another year of Ramadhan.
I am going to give my best for this time despite having the same notion annually.
Nothing much to note except the fact that it had been more challenging ever since.

It's May. A teacher worthy to note down.
As the title above, it is the 5th month of the year. So, I need to reflect on what I had achieved so far. The thing is there is not much to stuff to talk about as I do not have much interesting things happened lately.
Let me just say about my teacher who has helped before I turned who I am today. For this reason, I would just focus on one teacher because I myself could not write down every single teacher who had taught and helped me in the past 25 years of my life. Maybe, I will write it down in another post someday in the future.
It was not a difficult subject, yet it was very unpredictable as to what kind of grade you will get in your SPM. For mine, it was A-. The single subject in my SPM which comes with an A-. I could not care less about the result because it was all history and there is nothing that I can amend currently.
The teacher who taught me this subject, on the other hand, was a very caring person. She would represent herself as a motherly figure who would make sure that her children would get the best education as possible. Yes, she was Mrs Neoh Swee Ho. She taught me English For Science and Technology or in short, EST.
She did not make the subject appear to be a very difficult one, instead she would make the subject as easy as she could because you know, EST is unpredictable in the sense of what sorts of questions that would be asked in the exam. She made us thinking about the technology that had happened in our world and she mentioned a lot of things about the terms which were not originally in English, rather it was derived from old Nordic language or Latin or even Greek language.
One particular word that I could remember to this day was "reservoir". Sometimes, we take English for granted as we do not attempt ourselves to acknowledge how a word should be pronounced and spelt. But, Mrs Neoh showed us the right way of pronouncing the word. She would even clarify to us where the word originated and in which century it was from. Being a 17-year-old at that time, I was totally astounded by her as she would know every single thing that happened either in Malaysia or overseas.
She was even called as "the walking encyclopedia teacher" because she had a lot of knowledge in most of the stuffs that she would tell to us in every class that she attended, For me, if not because of her, I would not be wholehearted enough to discover every single book and articles on various things that caught my attention and interest.
For this very reason, I wish I could meet her again to say how much that she had helped me. And who knows, maybe I could be a teacher in the future with that kind of characters.

A new month
It has been a whole new month. Well, obviously I had made something in the past month to ensure that I did not waste my time simply.
- Firstly, I took up the challenge to write 2 essays in which one of them to be sent by this 10th of April. Gosh, I did not even write that much yet and frustratingly, I need to write that Essay in BM which is currently not my niche at all. I only managed to write a brief draft about the essay.
- Hoping to get it done by 7th of April. That is about the Hksu essay thingy. Another one would be the hari pengguna essay which is still far away from the final deadline (23 June 2017). Whatever it is, I gonna make sure I get both prizes in those essay competitions. RM 5,000 and RM 2500.
- Another essay is the Esei Semarak Jawi but I could not get much info on that. Insya-allah I will try to apply it later as it does not have a fixed deadline.
- Secondly, I managed to gather some courage to talk to the scholarship officers from 2 agencies. It went well as I did normally because I just wanted to know where would the scholars be sent to. Just tebalkan muka and just layan them as they are also human beings.
- Thirdly, the Utusan Cover thingy. I need to collect a minimum 70 papers so that I could participate in the competition. Who knows I can walk away with some cash.
- Sometimes, I do feel the urge to write but the problem is, I could not write what I initially wanted. Maybe the best way is to read as much as possible.
- Another competition which does not have deadlines is the Utusan Sabtu Essay and Reader's Digest Articles and Newsletter. Need to write more of that in my personal diary.
- I believe that writing gives me the pleasure to ease my mind from the hectic and busy work life. That's why I always find my time jotting down things that I want to write later on.
In this blog, I could not write much on my work probably because it has got to do with the government policy. And most importantly, all internet devices are being monitored by MCMC in government premises and agencies.
But I will keep on posting on how can a candidate performs well in interviews, be it private or government sector. Which is why I always want to be a part time councilor and scholarship expert. (Is there such thing as scholarship expert?. I just make it up simply)
Never mind. I did go to MARA Education Carnival few days ago and boy oh boy. It felt like I was going to the end-year sale where every corner has its own discounts and free items when someone buy a product from the supermarket. It was packed to the brim and too many body odour could be smell on that day. I wonder whether these IPTS really want to help students or simply make more money. Because, most of the IPTS are not that cheap either. Some courses can easily fetch RM 40,000 per semester and some could even reach RM 50,000 in one semester.

Reaching a quarter of century
Soon, it will be my 25th year on this Earth. Over the years, I had endured countless memories and experience that taught me to be stronger and braver in facing reality. Yup, living like an average does not make you any special at all.
Most likely, I just want to be myself all the time. I just want to feel "real me". The one who does not have to think of what other people think of me. However, I have my dreams which are yet to fulfill due to time constraint and money issues. It is difficult to achieve your dreams when you are not financially robust. Nevertheless, money and wealth can be found if one really wants to search for it.
As for her, maybe she is not there yet, but I am pretty sure that one fine day, we will belong together. Pretty much like HDIMYM (you know what it means, if you watch TV's).
What did I achieve for this 25th milestone? I could confidently say, not much. But, I have these not-so-much achievements to put to my personal hall of fame.
-I managed to travel with my families, friends and on a student exchange programme
-I completed my Grade 8 Piano and have performed in many occasions since high school
-I won Going Places Letter of the Month which enabled me to have a set of tea collection of world-famed Noritake
-I won Kong Zhi Corporate Song Competition. (I already listed to the remastered version and I really love it). Thanks UM and Kong Zhi.
-I was part of the debating team and for that reason, I was never afraid of the stage or audience again. Still I could feel the coldness and nervousness because I could never eliminate stage fright. How ironical this statement is!!!
What did I not get in life?
-No MBBS/MD for me. Not my luck to be in this field, in this world to say the least. This hurts me the most and for my whole life.
-No overseas degree scholarships after SPM. This hurts me a lot and surely will until my last breath.
Last but not least, I too shall make a book that chronicles my livelihood ever since I was born. No matter how trivial my life is, it is still different than other people because every people has their own story.
To more glorious moments in my life and good things in the future.
Life is short, so make it as memorable as possible.
p/s: If I cannot be a medical doctor in this world, maybe in akhirah I can be one. Insya-allah in Jannah, you can ask for anything, right?

Busy times as always
Oh, what a momentous moment in just 2 months time.
I am busy with my work. Yet, I still juggle with other stuffs like writing articles, email this writer, that writer. This is simply because I want to make myself busy.
I am also busy with giving advice on Fb group on tips regarding SPM scholarships. Yup, I know it has been 8 years since my SPM, but I am the kind of person who is willing to help out the others who might need help after their SPM, especially on scholarships.
Maybe, if there is such job as "scholarship consultant", I would definitely apply for it without any doubts in mind. It gives me satisfaction to see other juniors to receive scholarships though I am not the one who got it.
Right know, I also try to write up for my HKSU thingy, hopefully it will be settled by early March.
p/s: To more writings and reaching out.

Hotel and travel reviews
Hotel and travel reviews?
Yup, though it has been ages, I shall have my take on every single hotel and countries that I have ever been to.
It might take ages, but at least that is what the blog is all about, a blog that revolves around my life and people around me.

Hidup untuk berbakti
Sering kali kita selalu saja dengar,
Tapi apakah maksud kejayaan sebenarnya?

Tahun 2017 sudah bermula dan aku berazam untuk menjadi lebih baik daripada seterusnya. Moga impian mendapat RM1 juta tercapai supaya aku dapat membantu keluargaku dan menggunakan sebahagian daripada wang tersebut untuk Francais Kumon yang ingin aku peroleh. Dan aku akan menyertai segala jenis pertandingan pada tahun 2017 dan seterusnya supaya aku mampu beroleh lebih banyak insentif hasil daripada penyertaan tersebut. Aku senaraikan apa yang aku harus lakukan bermula daripada tahun 2017;

Book 5
Just another day,
I don't have much time to write.
Nevertheless, it has been 8 years for this blog to have existed and 25 years of my old-self.
Insya-allah, I will pray that I will meet that someone in the future by 2020, during which I would be 28.
And, I just hope that I will be 1 million ringgit richer through SSP, in a non-arrogant way.
Also, hoping to either open a Kumon franchise, self-center, music centre, restaurant in the future.
Life only comes once right. So, you cannot let it to chance.

Kembara dunia
For this post, I shall write in Malay as I feel it is utmost suitable to write in this language.

Reset button of the year
Well, it is the last month of the year. It has been such a challenging and trying year for me and also to others. Let me continue in Malay, dah berkarat nanti asyik tulis dalam BI je.
Gov application, Masters, overseas, writings, etc.

The state of happiness and sadness
Thinking on how much our parents have invested towards us since we were born is always full of tangible explanations. We deem that it is the responsibility of our father and mother to support our daily meal, shelter and clothes but in reality it is the other way round. We are the ones who are supposed to be responsible for our own beings and with that in mind, it is always our filial duties to contribute as much as possible, either financially or physically to our parents who have tirelessly raised us up to the state we are of today.
In all cases, we all grow up unnoticed of the fact that when we were still infants and children, all we could think of was playing all day round, mingling with other children that we all consider friends. But as we grew older, we did not longer do what we used to when we were young. Yup, it is life and that is how it works.
We never thought that life was so short until we loss someone that we dear so much. When the sad moment prevails, we can only recall lapses of wonderful moment that we used to experience. Again, that is life. We can never guarantee when is the high and low phases of our life might be at, and yet we could only remember the good moments since humans don't like to be at their rock bottom at any stage of the lives.
Recalling my life so far, it is nothing but full of surprises. Yes, there are certain ups and lows that I used to encounter but those are what keeps me strong for all the time. The good moments of travelling together with the family to several countries (Which I will post more in the upcoming months, latest by October 2017) and going to many eateries and festivities in the country have brought a long lasting memory to myself simply because I loved every single moment of it. If I were to list more, it would be endless. To my surprise, when I look at the old pictures, it seems that all the good memories suddenly get rekindled in an instant because I did not remember much when I was 2-8 years old. I mean who could remember everything at such age?
The sad moment of going to residential school and not getting the scholarships that I always wanted were even more impactful because it had shaped to whom I am today. For that reason, I hope that I can sweep this sad moment under the carpet of internal memories so that I can recall only when I need it at the most important times.
One side note; You could never be wrong with your family, and for that I keep sticking to the fact that we can always support and believe each other because families are meant to be as one. We may not agree on certain things in life but in the end, we will still be seeing each other when we eat, celebrate our festivities and when we cheer and console over certain affairs that have been part of our lives.
Soon, we will be heading to 2017 and I would be a year older and that means one year closer to DEATH (as all Muslims believe). So, in the remaining times, I just hope that I could utilise my time and ensure that every single second is not wasted for nothing. I just want to make good memories with myself, families, friends and the people around me. Because I believe life is like a box full of chocolate, and you may never know what kind of chocolates that you will get.

3 weeks and ongoing
Tarikh lapor diri: 4 Oktober 2017
A date that I will cherish and I will promise to make an autobiography if I had the chance to live beyond 60.
Sweet 24, joining the government workforce and who could ever predict 30 years down the road?
It has been a ride of fieldwork, seminars and everything else. Well, I just hope that everything can turn out well pretty easily. Starting to think of my own future paths, thinking about what if I take this? What if I take that? What will happen 10,20 years down the road? It seems that 10 years have passed so fast (2006, I was still in junior high school). Hoping that my dream of becoming a diplomat will not fade away easily despite all the challenges and tribulations that I have to encounter.
Budget 2017 was announced recently and it was quite a surprise especially there is a new position scheme and training scheme for all 3 critical courses in Malaysia. Contract. Period. Well since I am not from this field I just have to say my sorry for everyone out there. Blessing-less in disguise.

Will I?
Thinking back on how fast we have
changed, it makes us wonder that we somehow have to face certain adjustments
from time to time. Be it good or bad, I always remind myself that I will have
to keep myself going and strong.
For the past few weeks, I had
started reading a book by Prof Kamil (If you don’t know, then I suggest you go
to another planet if you are a Malay Malaysian) entitled “Hadiah Buat Anak” or
something like that. From what I read, I could conclusively say that my life
struggle is almost the same as him, maybe better than him slightly.
I wished to go to overseas ever
since I was a boy. I am always fascinated by the grandeur architecture of
historical monuments in Europe and North America. The opportunity to ride an
aeroplane for 13-20 hours just to reach the ultimate destination. The natural
view of the Alps and Cliff of Moher in IRELAND.
At the same time, I aspired to
study at foreign universities. But, due to my own stupidity, carelessness and
lack of attention of various applications, I did not manage to get one.
What makes me more disappointed
was the fact that some other friends of mine whose results are similar to mine
managed to land on a foreign scholarship, enabling them to travel other
countries and ultimately posting pictures on their social medias and “Salam
Perantauan” column.
I know that Allah will DETERMINE
the fate for each of His followers, but the pain was just too difficult to bear
on my own shoulders. Imagine your long-awaited visions since childhood just
banished in the blink of an eye, no longer to be seen forever.
Going back to MKI, he encountered
the same fate when he did not manage to obtain the sponsorship that he thought
that he could get. Unfortunately, his own denial and arrogance paid a price for
his future when he “failed” miserably (considering the current inflation of
excellent results with 30 years of history) and did not get what he wanted,
which was to pursue Law in the UK before becoming the Prime Minister of
Malaysia in the future.
Due to his own negligence, he did
not learn from his mistakes, costing him to enroll in multiple colleges before
he finally managed to get the Young Tutors’ Scheme from UITM as a result of his
impressive results in his undergraduate study. And 10 years later, he did go to
overseas and pursued his study there with his family.
You see, life is somewhat
mysterious. It is beyond our control by any means. However, there are 2 things
that will help us to get what we want in life.
First, efforts after efforts.
Second, always pray and ask to our Superior to grant what we always wish for.
He knows what is his best for you, and sometimes with the power of doa, you can
still get what you want.
So here am I, in the year of
2016, I am wondering, will I be able to study or work overseas someday? Of
course, I want it. It will never be erased from my entire life’s memory for as
long as I am still alive. For the time being, I am going to make full use of
what I have so that I would not take it for granted when the opportunity is
longer there. If the PTD thingy is still available in the future, I hope that I
can be a diplomat so that I will fulfill one of my ambitions that I yet to
become.
p/s: Insyallah, one fine day.

Hoping and praying
Starting a new hijrah, at a new place called UKM. It was rather unprecedented as I myself just got back from the PAC assessment in Kemaman. Registering all by myself.
Nevertheless, I believe that the result will come out by few weeks, most likely on 16th of March 2016. The idea was that I need to spend some few days here for the lecture and related stuffs. I was hopeful of the cadet interview, which is the final stage for all this selection.
I need to keep my head up and ask to Allah so that he could offer me the best that I can have. Insya-Allah, people always say, "Kalau rezeki tak kemana". So it was a simple and yet meaningful catchphrase which I believe that if others can get it, why not us?

Recap of 2015 and Hello 2016
2015 has ended and still I have not made any recaps of the year so far. As such I would describe 2015 in a very concise manner.
- Graduated with top 4 of the Class of 2015
- Studying for a postgraduate program at UM,but ended up withdrawing from the program
- Working as a Kumon assistant, which I strongly felt that the education philosophy should change as it is not suitable for Malaysian students
- Going for multiple interviews and managed to land a job offer.
- Meeting a lot of excellent and superb people with diverse skills and professional acumen
However, 2015 was not that "all joy and fun" as there were setbacks due to mass slump in oil prices and the decline of Malaysian ringgit value against the greenback(US dolllars). Nevertheless, I would remain steadfast along the way and must hold true to reality as life is always harder than it seems. I would expect 2016 to be even tougher as the global conditions are always unstable and full of uncertainties.
I hope that 2016 will be better than previous year despite all the challenges that remain ahead which I must face inevitably. With all the PTD exams, interviews and UKM thingy, I do hope that I can make my future to be a better one.
p/s: 2016 is supposed to be the start of the so called "renaissance era" of myself.
