Safety comes first

Salam,

You must have heard about this guy above right? I believe every student ought to know that he was falsely by the pretext or intention of the people around him trying to assist him, but the fact that they did quite totally against by the human nature itself...This is the picture that was caught and in fact there are many videos regarding this inhumane robbery in the streets of London...

He was none other that Malaysian student Mohammed Ashraf Haziq, 20. He is the MARA-SPONSORED STUDENT AND HE WAS JUST ARRIVING IN THE UK A FEW MONTHS EARLIER. IF THIS HAS GOT NOTHING TO DO WITH THE riot or the carnage of the A Briton earlier this day, all this mugging and looting that loomingly appear to escalate into further act of Uncivilised people.
Now, the policemen or should I say the cops of 16,000 would scourge the area involved to address this conflict in the real future..Hopefully, the recalcitrant people which involved in this kind of act should be able to notice that their actions will not eventually be fruiting any positive yet harmonious outcome, instead it only bring much grievances to the community of Londoners from being regarded as one of the most friendliest people in the world.
The looting, burning and damaging properties that have been for generations have all wiped out senselessly by these irresponsible people. This have caused a bit of turn down in the economy of Britain....
Hopefully, this riot will not spur the other cities to involve as well.Hopefully, all the Malaysians in the UK and Nearby are safe from this crisis and turmoil that has rattled the peace and tranquility of the UK. Ok, nak cakap Melayu pulaklah....

P/S: UK&IRELAND, please stay cool and always keep your composure securely

LOTS OF STUFF

Assalamualaikum and a very good day everyone,

Well it is currently the fourth day of Ramadhan. It is flying really fast as we have never thought about it at all. As for me, I sincerely believe that most of us can actually fulfill this month with so many activities. Let alone with the religious stuff and many other activities are lined up for the day. I am quite new with this blogging thingy, but sooner or later, I hope I can really make this blog a huge success especially in Malaysia.

As you know, during this time we are not allowed to do things that will jeopardize or affect our fast during the day. I do hope that it will last long for this one month of stint and challenges that are upon us. With Najmi's(jimmy) leaving, it reminds me that one of our friends are pursuing overseas and complete their higher education abroad. There has been a lot of news, locally and globally.

First of all, it is about the doctors's working duration and their obstacles that they have to "suffer" during their years as freshman for the housemanship program. I should say that it depends on the person himself, not because of the work load or the schedules that make him not wanting to feel better in the working field, instead it has something to do with his mind as well. Well, you can say that I am nobody here because I am no medical student. I am a soon-to-be geological student in Universiti Malaysa. But, I know, later in years, most of my friends or colleague who pursue in this field will find hard and tough times because more and more people are taking or pursuing this obsessed course in Malaysia. Not to mention, 90% of students who get excellent result,as if straight A+ or 4 flat, will take up medicine as their first choice for pursuing their degree programme either locally or abroad.

With the latest news of the CHURN-CHURN butter, it has been confirmed that it haram in Islam and I hope we never ate that kind of product when we actually ate so many breads, cookies, kek lapis and many other assortments in the past. Hope we can make Malaysia a global Halal hub in the near future as to prevent further problems from escalating. This is further do with the Starbuck's coffee and cakes that have been available nationwide. Those posts on FB has further alleged the company to use some materials that contain the DNA of the piggy family. HMMM, wonder if this is true for good???

As I am planning to go somewhere during this Ramadhan, I will promise to you that I will write more posts regarding my trip....Oh, being a geologist means that he must have lots of field trips, right? Let's us hope for the best, and aim for the 3.7 mark..I know it is not possible, just don't be too fantasize with going out for leisure and basically nothing because 3.5 years is not a long time actually. With the medical check up and the JPA stuff are almost completed, I hope I can further my study in the future with this course THAT has been stated in the offer letter.

Basically, I got a call from UEM regarding the scholarship that I applied in May. Never thought I would be selected to give my details. But, it turned out that my geology course has nothing to do with UEM sponsorship as Uem only provides scholarship for certain course.http://www.uem.com.my/Click here for the scholarship stuff...

And so, I will perform my al-quran and terawih prayers. Not to forget my piano cover.Yiruma, kiss the rain will be soon in my fb account. If you have any songs to request, you may comment it to me in this blog... Well, I don't really have an established fanpage on fb. Not to find so much fame etc..Just want to do piano cover for fun apart from getting a job in Geology soon...

P/S: Nak sambung belajar kat UM, x sabar nak tahu pasal bahasa asing punya kursus kat UM dengan orkestra UM...MUST HAVE TO KNOW ABOUT THIS...

The last throw...

Pergi...

Salam,

Dalam bidang economy di universiti pennsylvania...seperti di atas tu....aku baru belajar dalam bidang blog ni...it would be a couple of years before i can really master in this blogging skill....

A HAPPY WELCOME, NAJMI TO THE USA...so, chase your American's dreams there.....mingling and be optimistic with the people there and yet retain your identity as a Malaysia, Kedahian, Malay and Muslim....

Gud luck.....:)

P/S: NEXT YEAR, lagi banyaklah post pasal budak2/kengkawan yang nak fly ni...boleh post banyak2....

Adakah sudah bersedia?

Assalamualaikum,

3) Bersedekah.

ADMIST THE UPU...

SALAM,

WELL, IT IS REALLY GRATEFUL TO SEE THAT THE RESULT HAS CAME OUT. FINALLY, WHAT A RELIEF,ISN'T IT? SO AS NOT TO WASTE ANY TIME, I SHALL ANNOUNCE MY OFFER OF ADMISSION FOR IPTA UNDERGRADUATE COURSE FOR 2011 FOR LEPASAN STPM/MATRIKULASI/ASASI AND ITS EQUIVALENCE:

UNIVERSITI MALAYA
GEOLOGICAL SCIENCE
3.5 YEARS
JPA-FUNDED(this still celarly needs a little bit of inquiries to the JPA staffs)

so, I am grateful with this course as I dont really know what I want to be in the future. Frankly speaking, even if I scored 4 flat during the asasi thing, I would still feel hesitated to put in the medical course or something related to it because I found that that course is just not so flexible for people like me. Not that I dont favour Chemistry and Biology(I admire both subjects), I dont want to stay in the hospitals for such a long time. I just want to own big houses, cool cars and some money, wealth and health so that I can contribute myself and to the society with the property that I have when I achieve "that" particular social status. I really want to use some of the money to give to the needy ones. So, by being a geologist and hopefully many years later,i WILL be able to get employed in the GLC-company,private or even government to get all the required wealth. AND STILL, I WANT to continue my studies in overseas universities and have a pretty good life in Malaysia and also in overseas.

AMER AZMI,

geologist hoping to work with big companies some day,

insya-allah with the 1ST class honour that I really aim for...

VIDEO COVER

yes, i admit that it was quite fun making the piano cover since i initially played the classical pieces merely. so, apart from learning new foreign language and reading motivational and inspiring books and stories, i really got involved with this kind of activity. so, to be more interesting, i posted the first piano cover that was dedicated to a friend of mine back in SERATAS, but i never thought that it would be commented by lots of people.

it is not that i want to brag or show off, but i really expect low reviews from everyone who knowa that i can play the piano. nevertheless, i will try to improve my piano skills and continue playing the instrument for further enhancing my capabilty of musical manship. tomorrow would be the final of wind orchestra competition, and i do hope that seratas royal rhapsody will manage to get placing this year( top 3) to reminisce the memories in 2008. even beter, if they win and beat alam shah wind orchestra, i couldn't feel even better...

KCC

Today I would really like to start my post with assalamualaikum for those who are muslims and also a very good day for others. It has been 2 weeks since I have left my laptop because I had gone to some places for a few events that really caught my attention.

Let me begin with MY SISTER departure to UK for furthering her degree in Pharmacy. I would say this is quite fulfilling for my family as I am not going for overseas degree program in the following years until my graduation hails. But, I was lucky enough to see other people with their baggages travelling to another land in pursuit of studying. It has been a long time since I last stepped in the very building of KLIA. Back then, we travel back to our home in the northern part of Malaysia.

As we headed back home, I recollected that the SPM certs have arrived at the school's office. So, without wasting any thoughts, we just drove off to SERATAS, my last school throughout my whole education years. I brought my IC and the school's clerk gave me a cert that looked just above this post. The GCE-O certs are not at school yet, so we just have to wait for at least another 6 months or so. It was a school holiday and as a result, nobody was at school except a few teachers/wardens and some office's staffs.

The consecutive week, I had this so-called JPJ test. So, I had nothing to expect as I drove quite badly and horribly during the practice session. With the extremely, negative-thoughtful driving school instructor had just make my day even worse. On the day of Thursday, 16/6/2011, I walked to the driving school for the test after arriving at the spot with my school intsructor. Technically, he sent me to this school and he left. I had to wait for long hours before I received the forms that was handed to the JPJ officers. I got NO 27 for the waiting list of the test. The JPJ test basically consists of two parts, which is the circuit session and the road session. When The JPJ people mentioned that I can get into the car, I was so freaking out till my last breath. It was this slope hill test. I made a few prayers and lastly, I made it at the top of the hill. At that moment, I had just pressed my clutch and the foot's brake, but he simultaneously instructed me to raise my hand, indicating that my car was at the right position. I was about to panic at that time, and calmed myself before I put on the hand brake, pressing the clutch and the fuel pedal and manages to move the car downhill successfully. The parking and the turn-about test was ok, because I did not really have problem with those.

The final test arrived when I had the car moving from the school to the road nearby the school. I definitely recounted every moment that I went through. The most apparent mistake that I made was I went to the wrong road. The jpj officer had earlier mentioned jalan satu, but I was so confused with all the 3 roads that I have taken. So, in the end I found out that I had taken jalan dua. But, I guessed the jpj officer was kind enough to me eventhough the car's engine went off suddenly when I was at the junction, realising the fact that I made a lot of mistakes such as turn-around with high gear mode and driving at right lane despite moving on the road quite slowly. I mean the "right" lane is the most right lane at the road that is used for speeding and crossing other vehicles on the left side of the road.

As you can see, the test's slips are on the above of the post. So that's all. I have to make full use of these 2 years of sijil memandu percubaan before I can get the SIJIL MEMANDU KOMPETEN.

amer azmi

kedah

oh,btw i should include my overall result for the semester 2 of my asasi session.

  1. FJAX 0113- B (the only subject with b, it is algebra and statistics)

  2. FJAX 0114- A

  3. FKAX 0113- A

  4. FKAX 0114- A- (organic chem, lots of memorizing and understanding the organic stuff)

  5. FMAX 0113- A- (quite weird, for mid sem test, I got an A, i GUESS there are mistakes)

  6. FMAX 0114- A

  7. FQAH 0113- A

  8. FQAH 0114- A

I don't really want to say much about this result because what matters is the PASUM overall result not this one. But, I can say and prove to you that I did poorly in semester 1 due to my health problem during the one week test period. From 2A- in semester 1 to 7A'S and 1B in semester 2. From 3.08 to 3.80 in semester 2. WELL, the CGPA WAS QUITE AVERAGE as the semester 2 GPA has to be combined with semester 1's. So, the overall CGPA is 3.44.

I suppose we already knew the whole situation that occured in malaysia's education system right now. Recently, the government have announced that those with 8A+ and above in SPM 2010 will be eligible to obtain the JPA scholarship. That could be rather lenient since last year's requirement was 9a+ and above, but still a lot of my friends who obtained less than 9A+ GOT those scholarships.Yesterday, I read about those high achievers who slipped out from having straight a's results due to one language paper that was considered very unimaginable to think that only 161 people got A+ out of 50,000 students who took that particular subject(CHINESE LANGUAGE). tHEY managed to get only B+ despite working very hard on it since their primary education. I believe the new grading system is quite troublesome because it is making these students more difficult to achieve good scores in SPM, especially me. If not because of the new system, I would have got 9a1 and 1a2.Batch tikus lah katakan...

Now, JPA has reduced the number of scholarships from 1500 to 1000 places only..HUH!! iT is making the competition even riskier and higher because 10,000+ are straight a's students and 403 students are straight a+'s students. I could predict that many more students who apply for the scholarship are those who are obtaining 8a+ and above.....so, just hope for the best whatever it is..

And now, the freeze on medical courses have stirred the students into thinking that no medical courses are being offered until 2016. However, it is just temporal process as it does not affect those IPT's that already offer the courses. Nevertheless, I just hope that the government would provide more scholarships and more places for these bright students to continue their tertiary education in higher learning institution worldwide.
